4240 Architecture

Conveniently located in Cherry Creek North, this pair of buildings totaling over $80 million in construction brings 165 luxury apartments to the heart of this bustling neighborhood.

As the Project Architect overseeing both buildings, I was active in the model throughout the project, contributing to all phases from schematic design through construction and owner occupancy. Involved in both exterior and interior elements of the project, my focal points included unit layouts, amenity space and operable partition design, pool area design and coordination, code studies, interior design and MEP/S coordination. Responsible for coordinating unit designs with the Infinity system load-bearing stud walls, the project was able to eliminate columns on apartment levels which reduced cost, expedited construction and avoided structural columns in living spaces.

In effort to enrich the stucco facade areas, I was responsible for the design of a custom mullion cap extension around windows and balcony doors. Shadow studies were used to establish the preferred size and location of fins. Remaining on the project throughout the construction administration process, I played an integral part of developing solutions for conflicts and managed design revisions throughout construction, including retail tenant feasibility studies and design coordination.
