An existing 1951 ranch sits on an elevated corner lot of a great neighborhood - the owners saw the potential to transform it into their forever home. Their goal aimed to expand the home with a new primary suite and connection to the garage while redefining the character throughout the existing footprint.

In addition to the new suite, this renovation reconfigures and enlarges the kitchen, adds an entry feature, home office, new laundry room, and a library nook. With inspiration from midcentury modern examples in nearby neighborhoods, we developed a new vaulted roof structure to provide airy volumes, with clerestory windows and roof monitors sending daylight deeper into living spaces. Custom casework is featured throughout the home, with detailed tile design adding the final touch to set off the new kitchen and bathroom.
